Dr. Weiyi Cheng to Present at ICE Virtual Exchange
PTC psychometrician, Dr. Weiyi Cheng, will be presenting a birds-of-a-feather session as part of the Test Development and Administration conference track at the ICE Virtual Exchange. Her session, Leveraging Standard Setting with Empirical Data from Rasch Modeling, will introduce the theoretical basis and rationale for the use of Rasch modeling in the most commonly adopted Angoff process.
The adequacy of the standard setting procedure heavily depends on the accordance between the judge-estimated item difficulties and empirical examinee-based item difficulties. Using empirical Angoff ratings together with test results data, Weiyi will illustrate various ways of applying informative data from Rasch modeling to facilitate the traditional Angoff process.
This interactive session will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, from 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM ET.
