Remote Proctoring Information for MAC Users
Apple released MacOS 15 (Sequoia) this week. This version contains new features that are incompatible with Prometric’s ProProctor remote proctoring software. For this reason, Prometric is blocking remote testing candidates from using Sequoia/MacOS15 until further notice. Candidates will not be able to use Sequoia/MacOS15 until necessary changes are made to the ProProctor platform, which tentatively will be made available this October or November.
Candidates should plan to take their remotely proctored exam on either a PC or a MAC running High Sierra (10.13) or higher. MAC OS Ventura (13.0 to 13.21) and Sequoia (15.0) are incompatible with ProProctor. Candidates may also reschedule their remote appointment for an in-person appointment by going to www.prometric.com or calling 800-741-0934.
